The plan is to open a bar & lounge in Austin by 2025. A welcoming place with exceptional aesthetic, diverse drink offerings, rad events, and the feeling of belonging. Full of vibes and authentic connection. A true alternative bar.
The future of social drinking
We are on the cusp of a paradigm shift in social imbibing. Reports by Pew Research, Gallup, and NC Solutions are reporting that Americans, especially Gen Z, are drinking less alcohol and seeking alternatives. Our 2,200+ sq ft space will be home to our signature zero-proof elixirs, a wide selection of the best brands in the blossoming functional beverage space, and the humans who consume them.
The space
Our intentionally-designed space will be sectioned off into areas that are designed to emit energies for varying purposes – from deep work, to self reflection, to playful interaction, so that patrons can choose a drink and where to sit based on the state they seek. We will host recurring events such as poetry nights, open mics, mixology classes, tarot workshops, industry nights, & more. There will also be private rooms available for therapies, 1:1s, workshops, content creation, and small groups.
Funding
In order to make this vision made manifest, we'll need to raise a ramp of ~$400k. Where will this money come from? you might ask – well, along with bootstrapping the initial stages with revenue from the events model, we're also exploring various funding options including crowdfunding, business debt, and aligning with the right investors.
